All Axis Digital showers are electronically controlled. The Digital Processor is about the size of a shoebox and can be concealed under a bath, under the floor or in a loft or cupboard.The Shower Control in the shower/bathroom is a simple one-touch operation Additionally an optional Remote Dual Switch is available allowing the shower to be operated without entering the shower area. Do you need a Pumped or Standard? PUMPED Comes with its own built in two speed pump and is to be used where your existing water supply is from a conventional gravity fed cold tank and hot water cylinder. STANDARD Is to be used where the existing water supplies are already pressurised;- a pressurised un vented system, - a mains fed combination boiler - a pump is already installed to boost the pressure from a gravity fed tank/cylinder.Axis Digital CONCEALED versions are the most popular where the water supply is from the wall of the shower cubicle. Particularly appropriate when replacing an existing shower where the water supply is already in place. EXPOSED models are unique where the water supply is from the ceiling and flows down the Hand shower Rail, this is ideal where the water can enter directly from a loft above, minimising disruption and pipe work in the shower/bathroom and allowing the Digital processor to be hidden in the loft.
Hot and cold water is blended by the Axis Digtal processor to your required temperature . The processor , about the size of a shoe box , can be hidden up to 7 meters from the wall control, in a airing cupboard , under the bath or even in the ceiling space directly above . The thermostatically controlled , blended water is the delivered safely to the shower head.The Axis Digital standard processor is for use on a combination boiler or mains fed system , Where high water flow is assured.The Axis Digital pumped processor is for use on gravity water systems as it incorporates a built-in pump for extra power.
