The performance range covers flow rates up to 2.5 L/sec at frictional resistance's up to 70 Kpa.

OPERATING

All UP20N, UP15-13B, UP15-50B and UP/UPS25B/32B models are rated for a maximum system pressure of 10 Bar (145 psi).
All UP/UPS40FB models are suitable for a maximum system pressure of 6 Bar (85 psi).
Water Temperature Range: +15°C to 110°C. (UPS15-13B 95°C)
Practical limit for HWS +15°C to 65°C.
To avoid condensation in the motor windings the pumped liquid temperature must always be higher than the ambient temperature.

The minimum inlet pressure for all models should be 0.5m at 65°C and 4.0m when used at 90°C to avoid cavitation and to ensure quiet running of all models.
The minimum inlet pressure must be available at the pump inlet during operation of the pump to ensure satisfactory bearing life and to avoid cavitation.

MOTOR PROTECTION

All single phase models have internal motor protection by either thermal overload or impedance protection and can be connected to a switched/fused supply instead of a starter.
All three phase models require external motor protection and must be connected to a contactor starter incorporating no voltage release, overload protection and phase failure protection (single phase prevention).

ELECTRICAL SUPPLY

Standard electrical supply is 240V 1Ph 50Hz for all models and, additionally 415V 3Ph 50Hz for the UP 20-30N, UP 20-45N, UP 25-55B, UP 32-55B, UP40-50FB and UP40-80FB.
