P55N unit allows flow rates of 54 litres per min and measures 460 mm (h), 1020 mm (w), 160mm (d). and has 1 inch inlet ports
The size of the unit chosen depends on the amount of water to be treated. Smaller units treat lower water flows and are best installed an the cold feed to a single tap. Larger units treat higher flows and are suitable for installation on the incoming mains pipe offering whole house protection.
All Ultra Violet Systems should be fitted with a Pre-Filter in order to prevent the quartz tube from becoming dirty and thus reducing the UV penetration. The Manufacturer recomends a Liff High Flow filter housing HF76 be fitted with this unit
Pre-filters should be changed at regular intervals, every 3, 6 or 12 months depending on the quality of the incoming water. We normally Recommend one of the Liff High-Flow Sediment Filters.
The UV tube should be changed every 12 months to ensure on-going disinfection.
